-Fourth 0f July- Cassie

We did fireworks on the sixth of July. We did crakle bombs, flowers, and rocket fountains. My dad lit a fountain and at the right time he threw it up in the air and when it came down it exploded!

New Name- Candi

I am sure you have noticed the new look and name for our blog, and besides the Napoleon thing just getting old there is a good reason. After much prayerful consideration Kelly and I have decided to put the nursing thing off for a little while. We had both received this answer before I got my acceptance letter, but I got wrapped up with the idea of getting it over and done with for awhile. We have got back on track and realized what is best for our family. Now we will regroup and focus on the things that are really important. My kids really need me right now, and in only three years Erik will be in first grade (not that my kids won't need me then, but it will be much easier to get away for a few hours). I really appreciate all of the support and help that was offered. Thanks Asia, Suz, Mom, and Emma; I'm sure he would be in good hands, it is just a lot of stress for our family (and yours). I'm going to enjoy my family for now and not be in such a hurry to go to work. This is really an exciting and fun change in plans for us, so Let the Games Begin...

Summer Time - Candi

Summer is flying by. June is almost over and before I know it school will be back in session. I am trying not to let the summer slip away, but we stay up so late and sleep in so it can be hard to get much done. I guess we can just enjoy this time to do absolutely nothing at all. Nate left today for youth conference. It is at USU, and it should be really fun. Next week Kelly, Matt, and Nate are going to scout camp. It should be really quite around here for awhile. I'm going to try and get out there and really enjoy my summer.

I am going to really enjoy my time with these little cuties.

Appendicitis and Anniversaries-Candi

Well we were very excited to go to Park City this weekend for our 15th anniversary. Byron had started to feel sick on Thursday when we were on our way to the Zoo. Emma, being the nice Aunt she is, rented him a wagon so he wouldn't have to walk all over. I kept trying to convince him to get out of the wagon and help pull the little ones (I thought he was just tired because he had been playing so hard this week). Friday morning as we were getting ready for our little trip he still felt sick. I decided that I had better take him to the doctors to check for strep or something like that. We have had so much sickness in our family in the past two months, and just earlier this week Cassie was treated for pneumonia. Anyway, long story short he ended up with appendicitis, so we did go away for the weekend, only just to the hospital. It was still a very good thing that all the kids already had somewhere to go. Thanks Dani and Mom for always being willing to help out. I'm really not too sure about the whole Park City idea anymore. Last November we tried to go up there, and as soon as we got to the hotel Erik jumped off a bench and hurt his leg really bad. We had to go home right then and take him to the doctors. I'm not sure if we will try it again. Love, Candi.

Dance Recital-Candi

Fun on the Farm-Cassie

We have been doing lots of fun things with our

cousins

because Riley is going to move soon.

We went to Thanksgiving Point, and the Zoo.

We have had lots of Fun! My favorite part was

riding the horse.

Erik and Jennie liked feeding the donkey the best.

The Moms had fun too.
