Dance Recital-Candi

Everyone is invited to Jennie and Cassie's Dance Recital. It is this Saturday, May 31st @7:00 pm in the Roy High School Auditorium. 2150 W 4800 S. It is free (of course) and should be really cute. We hope to see you there!

Memorial Weekend-Candi

It was a busy and fun weekend. The camping trip was fun and the weather turned out to be pretty good. We had a few sprinkles, but the heavy rain waited until literally seconds after we left camp. Poor Byron hates camping on his Birthday, but I'm sure he will love it when he is older because he will always have a long weekend to celebrate with. I will put up a birthday post later. Our friends Stacie and Cory Matthews joined us. This is their two boys Cameron and Carson . It was fun to have them along. I will let the Boys post all of the fun things they did on this trip, but the babies and Cassie had a lot of fun thanks to Emma bringing lots of fun things to do. And it is always fun to have lots of cousins to play with. It is sad to think that Dani and Tom won't be around much longer. I wonder if we will get together as often when they aren't around to encourage it. They are the center of most of the fun activities. They will be missed by all! Love, Candi

Matt

Hi this is Matt. This picture showes me riding my bike down a dirt hill, it extends off the picture! Me Nate and Hyrum were in Hyrum's bonus room playing video games and when we came out side a huge pile of dirt was there. So we got some shovels and turned it into this awsome BMX track. But after just a littlewhile my dad came with a tractor and destroyed it! there's nothing left! But now we have somthing else to keep us busy.......Nana came over and told us that she would give us 35 dollars to weed her garden! Plus 5 extra if we get it done by friday, and 5 more extra if we also clean out the window wells. That's 45 dollars in all! But it isnt as easy as it looks.....The front yard was easy but the back yard was whole diferent story. The weeds were huge almost as big as the trees! But we're almost done and we're having a great time......So seya later!

Dirty Fun

We had a huge load of topsoil brought in last week, and the kids had a lot of fun. It was a lot of work, but the flower beds look better already (even with out any plants).

Kelly rented a tractor and had the whole pile moved within the day.

Jennie was a little nervous to dig in (She can't remember me ever telling her to go get dirty) but after a while she had fun too.

The wagon of death

We have had a few injuries in the past few days. While Beck and Kate were over this weekend Cassie was run over by the Jeep because Erik is a very inexperienced driver. After he hit her and took her out, he gunned it several times until he was able to finally clear the rest of her. The worst of her injuries was a friction burn on her foot (where the tire skidded for awhile). Beck was scared to death of the Jeep and the wagon even before the injuries-very smart. Kate was having a good time in the wagon when her feet slipped out from under her and she ended up with a bloody nose. Then last night Matt was being a good brother/cousin and giving all the kids train rides in the wagon. His excitement got the best of him and he couldn't resist adding some speed to the mix. This is the old style wagon with the front wheels and handle combined into one unit, and it tips over very easily. Luckily (for Dani's sake) Erik and Jennie were the ones in the wagon when it took the spill so Riley and Brooke were safe. They tumbled out and received various injuries. Jennie's worst injury was a really nasty bump on the head and lots of road rash, but she is doing well today. Poor Erik had no scrapes or cuts, but he did have a broken collar bone. That kid has had so many X-rays it unbelievable. He has a nice little sling for the next two weeks, and he is pretty whiny today, but hopefully he will be able to get his shirt off soon. When it hurts and he cries he says "I can't move a muscle". So cute. -Candi

Hey everyone, does anyone know how to put music on the blog. I've been trying (without any success) for a while but I just can't figure out how. Well talk to you later. Nate

Video-maybe?

Never mind. We figured out why it wont work. The video file is too big. Too bad it had some sweet dance moves. The boys won the napoleon dance contest and even Jennie busted some sweet moves.

Technical difficulties

We have been trying to add some things, but not very successfully. (Notice the giant title picture?) I also tried to download a video, my computer was downloading for over 15 hours and I couldn't get it to work. I have no idea how to do anything on the computer, but I guess I will be learning. One thing I can do is download a few more vacation pics-enjoy! Candi
